Bookings

 To secure your music lesson, you must book via mimismusicschool.com where you will pay the full amount of the lesson. 

Cancellations and Missed Lessons

Missed Lessons

  • If you do not attend your scheduled lesson and fail to notify Mimi's Music School 24 hours prior, you will still be charged for that lesson. 
  • A lesson is considered missed if you do not attend within 10 minutes of your scheduled lesson time.


Cancel/Reschedule a Lesson

  • You may cancel a lesson at any time given that you provide us with a 24-hour notice.
  • You can reschedule your lesson through your booking email confirmation at any time given that you provide a 24-hour notice.
  • All lessons cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will be rescheduled for your next available time/day.
  • If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, it will be classified as a ‘Missed Lesson’. You will still be charged for that lesson and is non-refundable.


Sickness or Natural Disaster

  • Only in the event of a natural disaster or the effect of a State or National pandemic lockdown can the customer reschedule their booking to a later date the following week or organise an online class instead.
  • In the event Mimi Laurilla is sick, contagious or hospitalised, Mimi will offer a refund or a reschedule for the booking.  
  • If the client is to contract Covid-19, the client is entitled to a lesson credit that can be used for the rescheduled class. 

Refunds

Pay As You Go Lessons

  • Mimi's Music School does not offer refunds on lessons that have already been attended unless there is a ‘major failure’ in the service.
  • Mimi's Music School does not offer refunds on cancelled lessons that are given more than a 24-hour notice, rather you will receive a lesson credit that is applied to the rescheduled lesson.
  • All missed and cancelled lessons that are given less than a 24-hour notice are non-refundable.

Allergies and Others

Before your booking, it is the responsibility of the person booking in the lesson to report any allergies that they or other people in their booking may have, including but not limited to; pet allergies, chemical reaction allergies, etc.

COVID-19 Policy

By booking in with Mimi Laurilla, you agree that you are compliant and understanding of the following statements:

​

You do not currently have any Flu-like symptoms including but not limited to fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or loss of sense of smell or taste - no matter how mild.

​

You have not been instructed by a Health Official to isolate or quarantine because you:

  1. are a close contact, or;
  2. you have been tested for Covid-19 and are waiting for your test result, or;
  3. you have returned from overseas in the past 7 days, or;
  4. you live with a Covid-positive person, or;
  5. you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 7 days
